NDK

Founded in 1948 under the name Nanbu Shoko Co., Ltd, it changed its name to the present Nihon Dempa Kogyo Co., Ltd in 1950 by registering the Company in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

In 1964, after eight long years of trial and error in the quest to unlock the true potential of crystal, NDK successfully produced synthetic crystal with a much higher purity than natural crystal. For more than half a century since then, it has led the market and its crystal technology has helped electronics evolve into devices.

The continuous evolution of electronic solutions helps make the world safer, more secure and more comfortable, and that evolution is made possible by glass devices.
