AA, AAA, C, D, 9V batteries

Non-recargable batteries with different shapes

The classification of the batteries in double A ( AA ) and triple A ( AAA ) is to differentiate them by their different sizes, being the triple A smaller than the double A. Both have the same voltage: 1.5V but triple A batteries have a capacity of around 2400mAh while double A batteries only have 1000mAh. Both are used in most small electronic devices such as remote controls, video consoles, toys, etc.
