Splitters of fiber

The fibre optic (FO) splitter, also known as fibre splitter or beam splitter, is an integrated optical power distribution and waveguide device that may contain multiple input and output ends. Its function is to split an incident light beam into two or more light beams or vice versa. The FO splitter plays an important role in passive optical networks, (such as EPON, GPON, BPON, FTX, FTH, etc. ), by allowing a single PON interface to be shared by many subscribers.
